Play directed by Enrique Diaz and starring Emílio de Mello and Fernando Eiras is at Futuros – Art and Technology
In “In On It”, Emílio de Mello and Fernando Eiras play ten characters, alternating between three different realities: the play, the show and the past. The central story revolves around Ray, a man disillusioned with life. At the same time, the show shows the discussion between two characters who develop the play about Ray, while the past addresses the beginning of the romantic relationship between these two characters. With humor and depth, the play explores themes such as love, communication, power and vulnerability, reflecting the complexities of the contemporary human experience.
Since its first season, “In On It” has maintained its relevance, now returning to Teatro Futuros – Arte e Tecnologia for a new season through September 1. Created by Canadian author Daniel MacIvor, the play is an opportunity for audiences to see or re-see a show that continues to resonate with current issues.
The show is part of the program of the project Come, Future!, carried out by Zucca Produções in co-production with Futuros – Arte e Tecnologia. The project is sponsored by the City of Rio de Janeiro, the Municipal Department of Culture, Serede, Veiga de Almeida University, Eletromidia, SANDECH Engenharia and Windsor Hotéis, through the Municipal Law of Incentive to Culture of Rio de Janeiro.
