New album challenges pop and popular standards, delving into the emotional richness of brega
The album features a fusion of influences, from bachata, bolero, tango to cumbia, as well as elements of northeastern music. Special appearances by Gonzalo Vieira, Llari Gleiss and Vitória Rodrigues add depth to the tracks “Me Ignora”, “Eu Ñ Quero Reggae com Vc” and “Brega Bem Vadio”.
Recorded in several cities, including Arapiraca-AL, Maceió, São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Buenos Aires and Grötzingen, Germany, “10 Super Sucessos – Vol. 1” was produced with a series of talented musicians. Paulo Franco (Gato Negro) on guitars and production, Tiago Luz on keyboards, Noaldo do Acordeon, Fernando Melo on acoustic guitars, Almir Medeiros on string arrangements, Rodrigo Cruz on drums, Ricardo Evangelista on percussion, Marciel Esley on trumpets and saxophones, and Vanessa Fernandes on backing vocals contributed to create a unique sound experience.
The mastering was carried out by the award-winning Júnior Evangelista, while the cover design was done by Riann, with photos by Leandro do Karmo and special participation by Júnior Duarte in the voiceover, recognized for his vignettes in Forró das Antigas groups.
