The capital of Pará, which will host COP-30, is standing out on the cultural scene. The ACEITA Festival was created to rescue and extol LGBTQIAPN+ memories and experiences in the Amazon. The event will be held at the Espaço Náutico Marine Club and several artists have already confirmed their performances for the celebration.

Grammy, Emmy and Tony Award winner Billy Porter will perform on August 24. An award-winning performer, Porter released his debut album “Untitled” in 1997, appeared in the film “The First Wives Club” (1996) and the revival of “For What It’s Worth” (2020). In theater, he is known for “Miss Saigon,” “Angels in America” and “Grease,” and won Tonys for “Kinky Boots” (2013) and “A Strange Loop” (2022). He also won a Grammy for recording “Kinky Boots” and an Emmy for “Pose.”
In addition to Porter, the festival will feature shows by Gaby Amarantos, Sandra de Sá, Gloria Groove, Maria Gadú, Carlos do Complexo, Banda Uó, Ilê Aiyê, Boi Boiola and many other artists. The public will be able to check out the full schedule and purchase tickets through the Sympla platform.
