The star admitted that despite his worldwide fame, thanks to his figure and striking appearance, he did not always feel confident.
Supermodel Naomi Campbell has admitted she was bullied because of her looks as a child. The Daily Mail reported this.
Speaking on the Cambon Podcast, she shared that children make fun of her tall and thin figure, comparing her to the Popeye cartoon character Olive Oyl.
“I felt uneasy because I was very thin and quite tall for my age. They called me Olive Oyl. You know, children tend to call each other names. My neck is quite long, so I tried to lower it down to it. not that long. I felt really bad about it,” she said.
Campbell explained that through dancing she learned to accept her body. Learning rhythmic movements came in handy during photo shoots and inspired her posing.
She also remembers the discrimination she faced, but she is proud that she was always ready to stand up for herself.
“I have a voice, and if something is unfair, I can say it openly, especially if I worked the same time, did the same job, and I was not paid the same, then I did not silence it”.
Earlier it was reported that the supermodel Naomi Campbell showed a rare photo with two children, which she does not show in public.
