The singer is angry that after two years of a full-scale war, traitorous singers like Taisiya Povaliy and Ani Lorak have not yet been stripped of the title of People’s Artists of Ukraine.
Ukrainian singer Pavel Zibrov has appealed to President Vladimir Zelensky to strip those who openly support the war in Ukraine of the People’s Artist title. In particular, he mentioned Taisiya Povaliy and Ani Lorak.
Zibrov emphasized that the title of People’s Artist of Ukraine has lost its meaning. However, performers with these titles still belong to Ukrainian culture, although they have no right to do so.
“Today, the title does not have such a meaningful meaning, status and influence. And these titles left the USSR. I think there is nothing like this in the whole world. I am a supporter of the fact that the name is more important and what stands behind it, what kind of figure, song heritage, love audience, active cultural activity and public position, than whether you are a national or honored – like our traitors, if where this title is not removed,” he said. said in an interview with the Commander-in-Chief.
Zibrov is convinced that the issue of depriving traitors of their titles should be dealt with by the Verkhovna Rada or the president. After all, the head of state or parliament gave them the title.
“It worries me and it annoys me, why can’t our president, the Verkhovna Rada remove those who openly support the Putin regime working in Russia, it should be removed, and especially after a massive invasion that has not yet been resolved issue and I don’t understand,” continued the artist.
Earlier it was reported that Pavel Zibrov said under what conditions he is ready to remove his trademark mustache.
