“During this period I dealt with financial challenges, anxiety, emotional and psychological instabilities, lack of knowledge and opportunities. But, in the difficulties, we found solutions and partnerships. This is the best time to launch this project”, reports ErriVance.
The EP features the participation of talented Bahian producers and beatmakers such as Tom VX and All4n Beats. The track “Desculpa” highlights collaborations with Killauea and Miguella Magnata, resulting in a symbolic and powerful union. “This song comes from the place of listening that each artist offered in their emotional relationships and experiences in the music market”, comments the rapper.
With a narrative that reflects ErriVance’s personal journey, the EP uses mockery, irony and sarcasm as tools of resistance and liberation, highlighting how music can be a space to overcome criticism and discouragement. The tracks were released by MUSIC PRÓ and are accompanied by six audiovisual products, including a music video and five visualizers signed by Murilo Deolino, Reifra Pimenta, Lemuel Castro and Thacle de Souza, produced in the Recôncavo Territory, in Bahia. The content is available on the artist’s official YouTube channel.
ErriVance especially highlights the tracks “Sorry” and “Fundamentos” for audiences looking for personal messages and experiences. On the other hand, “Ela Quer Fu” and “Tapa na Bunda 2” offer a different experience, with explicit lyrics and danceable beats, designed for the dance floor.
The process of creating the EP took two years of intense dedication, during which ErriVance turned his personal and professional experiences into inspiration for his compositions. Combining sounds such as hip hop, trap, pop, pagotrap, funk and rock, he created a record that captures the essence of his artistic expression.
The album cover, signed by João Guaragna (stylist and artistic director), Jean Igor (designer) and Renato Santana (photographer), directly reflects hip hop culture.
The look used by ErriVance strengthens the movement and shows identity, paying homage to pieces that are part of the suburb’s historical culture and that shaped the behavior of many people.
