New Globoplay series takes an in-depth look at Rio de Janeiro’s bustling ballroom scene

The series “Segura Essa Pose”, a new Globoplay Original, arrives on streaming on June 28th, International LGBT+ Pride Day, bringing an in-depth look at Rio de Janeiro’s bustling ballroom scene.

In a docu-reality format, the production is divided into seven episodes and portrays the ballroom culture, which is on the rise in the capital of Rio de Janeiro.

“Segura Essa Pose” hits streaming on June 28th

The series highlights young LGBTQIAPN+, black and peripheral people, who come together to celebrate their stories and talents at dances with electrifying artistic battles.

“Segura Essa Pose” is a creation by Lucas Fonseca, Lucas Fratini and Sandro Lima, directed by Sandro Lima and Chica Andrade. The production is signed by Maria Farinha Filmes.
