Film director Akhtem Seitablayev, who left to fight at the start of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, underwent surgery on his leg. He spoke about this in a commentary on Lux FM.
The actor said in the film that the operation was recently performed, so he had to undergo rehabilitation. The reason for the operation was an injury he received on the training ground.
After the surgery, I didn’t quite feel 100% in the condition where I wanted to feel. Meniscus, I injured my knee on the training ground. Almost every situation there is dangerous, but not like on the battlefield. Since I am a military man, I have to train sometimes. This injury is not as catastrophic, thanks to the Almighty, as, unfortunately, sometimes happens to my brothers, so it’s okay, everything will pass,” he said.
As Akhtem Seitablayev admitted, he will be able to return to military duties only after some time.
“Rehabilitation is still ahead, I probably won’t go to the training ground at the time I want, in a few months I will be able to perform the tasks set by the order,” explained the celebrity.
It was previously reported that Akhtem Seitablayev received a special award from the command of the territorial defense forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
