First collaborative album between urban Colombian artists celebrates the culture of Medellín and inspires new generations
“This work will have a very positive impact. We have had dreams since we were children and seeing that they can come true is a source of pride for those who see us as role models,” stated the artists. This release is an invitation to dream for all those who, like Maluma and Blessd, started at the bottom and faced difficulties to achieve success. It’s also a clear message for new artists to stay motivated and not lose hope.
“A complete production between two Colombian artists has never been done before. If it is the first, it cannot be done twice,” declared Maluma, emphasizing the historical importance of this project. Grateful to Blessd and his team, Juan Luis recognizes how this album motivated him to reconnect with his essence and show again who he is as an artist and what made him Maluma.
“Relaunching something with Maluma again and being able to make an album together is super cool. It’s the first time that two Colombian artists of the urban genre have come together to do something as big as this album, and what’s more, doing it in the neighborhood where it all started while we expressed many things that Juancho and I share. Friends like Ronaldinho and the world’s biggest jeweler, Jacob & Co., joined us on this journey, which is something very special for me, as a new star. a dream… Si Sabe,” explains Blessd.

Additionally, “1 Of 1” pays homage to previous generations of Colombian artists whose legacy and work inspired Maluma and Blessd to get to where they are today. This album is the continuation of that legacy and the dedication of those who paved the way for them in the music industry.
