Singer Maren Morris is the new openly bisexual on the block!

Celebrity LGBT+ Pride Month began on Sunday, June 9, with singer-songwriter Maren Morris coming out as bisexual in a new post shared on social media. Morris shared a carousel of photos on Instagram from a concert in Phoenix, Arizona. She wrote in the caption, “Happy to be the B in LGBTQ+. Happy pride.”
Celebrities are reacting with adorable comments on Morris’s reveal post. Allison Ponthier commented: “HAPPY PRIDE!!!!! Thank you for being an inspiration and what a special pride this is.” Lindsay Ell added rainbow and heart emojis to the comments section. Kate Yeager wrote: “WE [AMAMOS] MAREN! Proud of you!! Happy pride, girl.”

Morris later shared some Instagram Stories of herself holding a Pride flag while performing at the same show in Phoenix. The singer also reposted posts from other celebrities congratulating her for coming out and living as authentically as possible.

Between 2022 and 2023, Morris announced that he would step away from country because he disagreed with certain industry stances, including anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric promoted by conservatives and co-opted by many country artists.
