Play “Selvagem” explores children’s hidden childhood memories

After passing through Berlin, Lisbon and New York, the play “Selvagem” returns to Rio de Janeiro

After passing through Berlin, Lisbon and New York, the play “Selvagem” returns to Rio de Janeiro (RJ) during LGBTQIAP+ Pride Month for a unique performance at Teatro Rival Petrobras, on June 13th. Critically acclaimed since its debut in May 2023, the show has enchanted audiences with its sensitive and authentic approach to the complexities of diversity since childhood.

“Savage” explores hidden childhood memories of children who do not fit into the gender and sexuality standards imposed by society, analyzing the consequences of this in adult life. Created and performed by Felipe Haiut, directed by Debora Lamm and movement direction by Denise Stutz, the project offers a unique perspective on LGBT+ experiences.
