In this version, the dynamics are similar to previous montages, but heteronormativity and female objectification give way to the LGBT+ universe
The relationships of LGBT+ couples seen in an intimate way are the focus of the play “What will they say about us”, which will be presented in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), at Teatro Rival Petrobras on June 15th. The show is a reinterpretation of “La Ronde”, by Arthur Schnitzler, directed by Miwa Yanagizawa and Luisa Friese, who is also the creator and responsible for the dramaturgy.
With a naturalistic approach in action, but not in structure, the text humorously addresses the cultural clash between different social classes, who find themselves fortuitously in loving relationships.

The play gained international prominence in the late 1990s due to its boldness, high sexual voltage and Nicole Kidman’s nudity during the London season. In this version, the dynamics are similar to previous productions, but heteronormativity and female objectification give way to the LGBT+ universe.
