The filmmaker died in the battle against the Russian invaders near the village of Ocheretino, Donetsk region.

Director Konstantin Petrik died while conducting a combat mission at the front. The sad news was reported by his wife on Facebook.

“Kostya died on a combat mission,” the message said.

According to his colleague, director Eldar Magomedov, Konstantin died on May 27 in a fierce battle with Russian invaders near the village of Ocheretino, Donetsk region.

It should be remembered that before the start of a large-scale war, Konstantin Petrik worked in the cinema and became the second director. When the Russian invasion began, he volunteered and joined the National Guard. He later became a platoon commander.
