On Sunday, the 26th, Spartanos FC celebrated two years of existence with a competition against a team of transmasculine influencers, trans musical talents and the presentation of its official godmother – as well as a cake made by the Transafeto project.
The score was 7×3 for Spartanos in a match where the phrase “everyone wins” is more than pertinent. Based in São Bernardo do Campo, the team also brings together transmasculine players from several other cities in Greater ABC – where it was the first trans futsal team in history: Diadema, Ribeirão Pires, Mauá, Rio Grande da Serra, São Caetano, São Bernardo and Saint Andrew.
Spartanos also made history on their birthday by announcing Neon Cunha as godmother. “I am impacted by how you trans men teach us to live, to celebrate. I am very happy with this honor”, thanked the first godmother of a trans futsal team around the world.
The party-game-reunion in Diadema (SP) featured a performance by queer drag king Cidão Furacão with drums from the Federal University of ABC (UFABC), Alí, the girls from the trio Gyx and DJs Dave Hasani and Tayan.
