AMC’s drama series “Interview with the Vampire” returned to TV with its second season following the tumultuous lives of some traumatized vampires as they navigate love, loss and eternity. Jacob Anderson and Sam Reid play Louis and Lestat, respectively, as star-crossed lovers who ended the first season not so well.
The Season 2 premiere is set in Europe, as Louis and Claudia search for answers about their vampire origins. However, Lestat continues to haunt them in many ways. As they travel through the interior of Europe, changing dialects in each region, the actors’ accent work stands out.
Armand has his own complicated history with Lestat. There will also be Armand and Louis’ first meet-cute (a walk in the park), and it will quickly become clear that Lestat is still a constant presence in their lives.
