June’s first two husbands were placed in an asylum, including Grandma Britney, who later committed suicide.
American singer Britney Spears spoke about her late grandfather June Spears Sr., who put both of his wives in a mental hospital. The Daily Mail reported this.
The star said that his relative died in 2012 at the age of 82. On Instagram, he published a photo in the pool with his grandfather and a child, probably one of the artist’s children.
“Never had this happen to an older person! My grandfather died when I was 28! I’ve always worked for my family because that’s all I’ve ever known!,” she wrote.

Last year, Britney published a memoir The woman in meincluding disturbing memories of his late grandfather Jun.
June sent her first two husbands to a mental hospital, including Britney’s grandmother Jean, who later committed suicide at her son’s grave.
Britney’s grandmother was prescribed medication containing lithium at her hospital. Ten years later, the singer also took a similar drug during mental health problems.
Britney says there is little love in the family. Grandpa June raised his son Jamie strictly, without showing any warm feelings towards the boy, and then his father treated him the same way. He almost lived under the hood.
“Remembering the way my father raised his family and the way he raised me, I knew from the beginning that it would be a real nightmare if he took over,” Britney wrote in her memoirs.
Even more impressive, she said, “One of my father’s sisters said that June sexually abused him from the age of eleven until he ran away at the age of sixteen.”
It was previously reported that Britney Spears has commented for the first time on the incident that took place at the Chateau Marmont hotel in Los Angeles.
