The Thor actor revealed that he didn’t follow proper protocol at the biggest fashion night of the year.
Australian actor Chris Hemsworth decided to ignore Met Gala protocol. He spoke about it in an interview with E! News, People’s Report.
In particular, a week after the incident, he admitted that at a fashion event he took many photographs, which were prohibited. Moreover, it’s not one or two photos, but, according to the star, “a bunch of selfies.”
The Met Gala famously bills itself as a phone-free show, so taking any photos or even responding to a message is a rule violation.
“Loads of selfies. Selfies everywhere. There are so many selfies on my phone. Like… When did I take this? Let’s delete it,” he said.
However, the 40-year-old artist joked that such appearances are rare in his life. It’s just that, he couldn’t stop his enjoyment of what was happening around him.
The current dress code for the ball is “The Garden of Time” and the main theme is “Sleeping Beauties: The Awakening of Fashion,” and Hemsworth made his Met Gala debut with his wife, Elsa Pataky.
He wore a cream suit from the Tom Ford brand, and his beloved wore a golden dress with a neckline, decorating her hair with a golden tiara.
It was previously reported that Rihanna skipped the Met Gala.
