This model celebrates its 60th anniversary: it has been produced since 1964 and in total more than 10 million cars of nine generations have been produced.
General Motors will discontinue the Chevrolet Malibu sedan. They will stop making them in November 2024. The Detroit News writes about it.
The reason is that the General Motors plant in Kansas, where the Chevrolet Malibu is assembled, will stop for modernization. And from the end of 2025, the second generation Chevrolet Bolt electric car will be produced there.
The Chevrolet Malibu will also not be continued because classic sedans are not yet in demand among consumers.
As a result, there are no sedans left in Chevrolet’s American lineup. The only passenger models are the Corvette and Bolt.
We remind you that the budget Kia electric crossover was presented before the premiere.
