Nirvana and The Pixies producer Steve Albini has died. He is 62 years old. The Associated Press writes about it.

Albini died on the night of May 7 of a heart attack.

He worked on canonized rock albums such as Nirvana’s In Utero, the Pixies’ Surfer Rosa and PJ Harvey’s Rid of Me.
