The artist’s last concert as part of the Celebration tour in Rio de Janeiro was attended by 1.6 million people.
American singer Madonna held a free concert in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where she managed to break her record. Metro reported it.
The star performed the last concert of his Celebration tour in front of 1.6 million people on Copacabana Beach.
It broke his previous attendance record, more than ten times the 130,000 fans who gathered to see him in Paris at the Parc de Seu in 1987.
The singer regularly changed his image in his last concert and had a full concert program that often referred to his past performances. One of them was a kiss to singer Britney Spears at the 2003 MTV VMA ceremony.
Many spectators wore star-themed looks, from homemade cone bras like Jean Paul Gaultier’s iconic bust to blonde wigs and leather corsets.
It was previously reported that fans of the famous American singer Madonna accused him of lying and sued him.
