She explained that her due date was scheduled for a later date, so she wasn’t afraid to go into labor in the middle of a singing competition.
“I think everything will be fine. I’m not due to give birth yet. It’s an emergency,” she said.
Regarding the name of the third child, Jamala admitted that she and her husband Bekir Suleymanov have not yet decided.
After giving birth, the singer did not want to leave the stage for a long time. She is not planning a long maternity leave.
“I don’t have a maternity leave plan yet but I might take a month off just to be with the child,” she added.
It was previously reported that Jamala will be the speaker from Ukraine at the Eurovision Song Contest 2024 in Malmo, Sweden.
