He said that even during an all-out invasion, he and the president “walk the same roads.”
Ukrainian actor Yevgeny Koshevoy admitted how often he sees his close friend, President Vladimir Zelensky, and what they talk about. He spoke about this in an interview with KP.
We rarely talk. We text often. Or if he has free time, we can call him. It usually happens at night. We met several times. I would like to do it more often, but we understand how busy he is, his level of responsibility, his desire to win, and we all support him in this. We are talking about different topics. What we’re hooked on – that’s what we’re talking about. We often talk about military trips. And, by the way, it happens that the president and I often visit the same place on the front with a slight time difference. Or we were the first to go to a place with performances or deliver help, and after a while he came to this place. Or vice versa – he visited some position, and soon we went there too. So it goes out. Even during a mass raid, Vladimir Alexandrovich and I walked the same roads, “said Koshevoy.
He also talked about what it was like to be friends with the president during the war.
“When the mass war started, when the orcs were close to Kiev, there was constant shooting, and people met me on the street or in the only supermarket that was operating in our area at the time, it stimulated the them and gave them confidence. . Then the people, when they saw me, were surprised: “Why are you in Kyiv, haven’t you gone anywhere? I have a house here, five women, three dogs… And my best friend is also here. If I leave now, how can I look him in the eye? And in general, how would you feel if you left your country in a difficult time? And you didn’t leave either.” And people thanked us for simply staying in Kyiv. When they saw us on the street, their morale immediately rose and, hopefully, their psychological state improved as well. Now they just send greetings or giving advice to the president (smiles). For example, they ask: “Please, if necessary, tell me that there is such a problem or disturbance there.” And I say: “Okay, I’ll pass it if necessary. People need it. This is what supports them,” he added.
Let’s recall that Koshevoy previously named the amount offered to him for a place in politics.
