Previously, the celebrity said that he would only start drinking when his children grew up and left home.
American actress Anne Hathaway says she is celebrating five years of sobriety. He spoke about it in an interview with the New York Times.
According to him, he gave up alcohol after feeling unwell the next day after another night of heavy drinking.
“One day I was taking my oldest son Jack to school, but I was driving with a hangover, and I didn’t like that,” he admitted.
Moreover, over time, the focus on sobriety became more important in 2019 when she and Adam Shulman welcomed their second son, Jack, now four, in November of that year. The couple’s eldest child is eight years old. So the star decided to spend more time with his children than suffer from a hangover. Therefore, giving up alcohol was a really important event for Hathaway.
“There are many things that I consider significant in life that I usually don’t talk about, but for more than five years, this is a significant and important gift,” concluded the actress.
It was previously reported that Anne Hathaway admitted that before the birth of her children with her husband, actor Adam Shulman, she had a miscarriage.
