Britney Spears lost her case and now has to pay huge legal fees to her father.
Britney Spears and her father Jamie Spears have agreed to pay her legal fees and manage her finances. TheWrap reported it.
The decision was made in Los Angeles Superior Court on April 25, but the terms of the settlement were not disclosed.
Jamie is known to have asked for more than $2 million to pay the fees incurred by several law firms he hired while acting as his conservator.
The pop star’s lawyer, Matthew S. Rosengart, objected to the costs, arguing that his client should not have to pay his father’s bills. He said Jamie had abused his power as conservator by paying himself $6 million.
However, the court ordered Britney Spears to pay more than $2 million in legal fees for her father in the conservatorship case. This angered Britney – Spears herself spent more than $4 million on lawyers.
The singer expressed his anger at losing the court by kicking the windshield of the car.
