The next goal is to drive from Lagos to South Africa, but this time the British woman will still choose an SUV. And for the Peugeot 107 he plans to create a small museum.
Pelumi Nubi from London had a challenging journey. He drove his small Peugeot 107 hatchback from the UK to Nigeria. CNN writes about it.
The 29-year-old woman has lived in the UK since childhood, but was born in the capital of Nigeria, Lagos. He decided to connect the two cities he loves in a car rally.
The journey was inspired by the example of Nigerian Kunle Adeyanju, who rode from London to Lagos on a bicycle. Pelumi Nubi decided to show that such a journey can be easy, safe and completely feasible.
Pelumi Nubi has visited more than 80 countries around the world and previously traveled across Africa by public transport and SUV. This time he decided not to spend money on an expensive car and chose his little Peugeot 107, nicknamed Lumi.
The compact hatchback was modernized – a kitchenette and a sleeping area were installed inside. In 2023, the British woman test drove her car from London to Lake Como in Italy.
Pelumi Nubi visited 17 countries and covered 10,000 km. He was able to travel to Europe and even cross the Sahara Desert without any problems.
We remind you that the former Ukrainian Artemy Surin returned home from a trip around the world for 280 days.
