adidas Originals reinvents three classic models as part of the new “1000 Back” campaign

Sunday 2024 – adidas Originals presents a campaign that continues to follow the brand’s decline, giving the opportunity to wear the Gazelle, Samba and Handball Special to continue selling many rocks and drops today.

The campaign features three iconic shoes from football culture – Samba, Gazelle and Handball Special. First, it is divided into different types of sports: from basic training to football and handball, from the moment of its creation, the skin of these classic models continues to flow through different regions, cultures and directly.

Ahead of the campaign, a video was created by video director Vincent Haycock and professional skateboarder and Adidas Skate Team member Carlisle Aikens. The uniqueness of the video lies in the fact that it was filmed at one time and shows the lives of thousands of unique people in history. The main character of the video is straight from the street, highlighting the people, populations, identities and subcultures that created “Trefoil” with their powerful brand.

Today, a series of photos shows the importance of the facelessness of people and the unique types of how to wear sneakers today – their skin has styled them in their own way, which writes new chapters for these iconic silhouettes. The history of the campaign, enjoyed by Samba, Gazelle and Handball Spezial in different locations and contexts, always lives in a thousand different ways.

Along with film and campaign photography, adidas Originals aims to celebrate the spirit of its classic sneakers and the people who give them new meaning today, through a special digital platform showcasing content created by the original team . The platform collects stories of famous athletes, actors, producers, football players, coaches and simple adidas Originals supporters. Campaign highlights include: David Beckham, Jenna Ortega and Zinedine Zidane.

Many sneaker models are asked to share their looks using the hashtags #Samba, #Gazelle and #Spezial.
