The showman has been serving in the army for two months. He keeps in touch periodically and talks about life changes and military service.
TV presenter Orest Drimalovsky, who joined the Ukrainian Armed Forces in February, was subjected to artillery fire. He wrote this on his Instagram page.
In particular, the showman said that for the first time he went on a mission near the front line, and a Russian shell fell near his position.
Orestes also says that the combat zone is a real ruin, because the invaders destroy all living things around.
“For the first time, I entered a 2-kilometer zone near the contact line. The shelling here was constant, I’m not sure that they were specifically targeting us, although one shell fell 40 meters away. The Russian artillery was filling the entire square, methodically destroying every civilian house. It was a terrible sight to see these ruins. Inhuman,” he wrote.
Orest Drimalovsky added that everything is fine with him and now he is getting used to new conditions. He also noted that the days go by very quickly in the service.
“I’m fine. I’m getting into my service mode, meeting people, learning from experience. There’s a lot to do, but little time. By the way, days go by fast in Donbass. It can’t compare even to the frantic rhythm of Kyiv,” shared the presenter.
