The former US president hinted that the Duke of Sussex would not receive “special privileges” if he lied about drug use in his visa application. Prince Harry has been living in America since 2020 in a mansion in Montecito with his wife Meghan Markle and two children, Archie and Lilibet.
In particular, in his autobiography Spare, a representative of the royal family said that he used to use drugs, which under American law is a common reason for visa refusal. In the book, he admits to using cocaine, cannabis and psychedelic mushrooms.
“We have to see if they knew anything about drugs, and if he lied, they have to act,” Trump said.
The former president previously said he “will not defend” Harry because he “betrayed the Queen.” Trump also said that if he wins the election in November, Harry will be “on his own.”
