Longtime friend and actor Chris O’Dowd shared a happy snap of himself with Cillian Murphy after he won his first Oscar for Best Actor. The Daily Mail reported this.

Killian’s win is Ireland’s first at the ceremony since Daniel Day Lewis and Brenda Fricker won awards for their picture My Left Foot in 1990.
However, Day-Lewis was born in London, making Murphy the first Irish Best Actor Oscar winner. And he never forgot to mention it.
