The choreographer has come to defend his country after the start of a full-scale Russian invasion in 2022.
Ukrainian choreographer Dmitry Dikusar, who defends our land from the Russian invaders, tells how the war has affected him for the past two years.
In particular, on his Instagram page, he noted that he did not regret that he went to defend his homeland, but admitted that fatigue was felt.
“It is now two years since I completely switched to the “war footing”. Did I then think that the war would last? No! Do I regret my choice? Also, no! Undoubtedly, fatigue accumulates, sometimes my nerves give a little, but the memories of fallen comrades and faith in the victory of good over evil give strength to act and not stop,” he wrote.
Therefore, Dmitry Dikusar called on Ukrainians not to surrender to the enemy’s manipulations, believe in victory, honor the memory of those killed and pray for the health of Ukrainian soldiers who are in captivity or hospitalized with serious wounds.
The choreographer also published his first photo in a long time. According to him, this is the first time in two years of war that he attended a civilian event. According to the military, he attended a UVL (Ukrainian Veterans League) press conference.
