The star lost the money he earned due to unscrupulous team members.
Ukrainian TV presenter Konstantin Grubich said that the artist Andrei Danilko, known for his stage image of Verka Serduchka, was embarrassed to give interviews at the beginning of his career. Grubich spoke about this in an interview with OBOZ.UA.
In particular, he mentioned how in 1995 he persuaded Danilko to appear on TV screens for the first time not in the image of the conductor Verka, but “by taking off his mask.”
“I didn’t know that this was a guy. Imagine, my surprise was even more interesting. They start telling me that the artist is from Poltava, a young guy. His name is so-and-so. Poltava? So I’ “M from Poltava too! I found out that he had just entered the pop-circus school in Kyiv,” Grubich recalled in an interview with journalists.
Later, Grubich met the artist for the first time, and was surprised by how different Danilko was from his character.
“And so he went to the meeting – so modest, even afraid at some points, that he could not believe his eyes. It was not that he did not want to appear in the program, he actively fought. He explained that no one knew him, and it was okay that – to open did not want. Not striving for fame, at that time – certainly not,” said Grubich.
The TV presenter also told reporters what difficulties Andrei Danilko faced at the beginning of his career.
“At the beginning of his career, not everything was fine. There were such “fellow travelers” who even stole money earned from rural clubs. Until Yura Nikitin appeared with his production company, whatever happened, ” Grubich said.
We remind you that earlier Andrei Danilko showed his appearance when he was young.
