Mortensen said he stands with Ukrainians in resisting Russian aggression and those who condone that aggression.
Hollywood actor Viggo Mortensen supported Ukraine. She wore a black T-shirt with a white trident on the red carpet at the Glasgow Film Festival. The Daily Mail writes about it.
The actor also recorded an appeal to Ukrainians.
“Two years have passed, causing much death, destruction and incredible suffering to the people of Ukraine. It is unacceptable and inexcusable when anyone in the country of my birth, the United States of America, or in any country in the world, easily ignores the barbarity of land grabbing by Putin and his government. I support the people of Ukraine and their desire for territorial integrity. Long live a free Ukraine,” said Mortensen.
The star added that he doesn’t care what Western leaders do to support Ukraine, but they are obligated to help.
