The organizers expressed their clear pro-Ukrainian position and noted that they will not allow stars who support the Russian Federation to perform in their country.
In Lithuania, American singer LP’s performance was canceled after he wore a hoodie with Russian symbols. This is what LRT reported.
In particular, his concert was supposed to take place on March 4 in Kaunas as part of the artist’s world tour, however, after an annoying video in which he was proud of a gift from fans from the Russian Federation, protests began the world community against his concerts in Europe.
“Kaunas Zalgiris Arena has a clear civic position – we strongly support Ukraine. Our position remains firm – the concert must be canceled. After confirming the facts, we, together with the organizers of the Medusa event Concert, made a joint decision to cancel “Through this action, we want to draw the attention of LP and other artists planning events in Lithuania, that we will not ignore statements in support of the country aggressor,” emphasizes Mantas Vedrikas, head of Zalgiris Arena’s event organization department.
According to the organizers, after talking with the artist’s management, it became clear that LP was very sorry for his rashness, and he also did not think that he would offend many people.
It was previously reported that Megan Fox caused outrage among Ukrainians with her post on social networks.
