The best cars in Europe have been selected since 1964. They are voted by a jury of automotive journalists representing 22 countries.
At the Geneva Motor Show, the winner of the European Car of the Year 2024 competition was announced. The Renault Scenic electric car is recognized as the best car of 2024 in Europe. This is reported on the award website.
The new Renault Scenic received 329 votes in the poll. It beat the new BMW 5 Series (308 votes) and Peugeot 3008 (197).
The first place was given to the electric crossover by 22 of the 58 members of the competition jury. They noticed the innovation and low cost of the electric car.
We remind you that the market for electric cars in Ukraine has almost tripled over the year. In December 2023, the Ukrainian car fleet was filled with more than 4.6 thousand battery-powered vehicles (BEV), which is almost three times more than a year ago. Of this amount, over 4.5 thousand are passenger cars and 78 are commercial electric vehicles.
