British King Charles III spoke on the second anniversary of the Russian invasion. He made a corresponding statement on Instagram.
In particular, the monarch noted that, despite the pain and losses caused, the strength and heroism of the Ukrainian people continues to inspire the whole world, including him. He felt this when meeting with Vladimir Zelensky, his wife and military personnel training in the United Kingdom.
“The determination and strength of the Ukrainian people continues to inspire as the unprovoked attack on their land, their lives and their livelihoods enters its third, tragic year. The world is so closely associated with them. “Their true bravery, in spite of unspeakable aggression. I felt this personally in my many meetings with Ukrainians since the beginning of the war, from President Zelensky and Zelenskaya to recruits training here in the United Kingdom,” said the sovereign.
Charles III also added that he is pleased that Great Britain and its allies continue to support our country in this difficult time.
“My heart goes out to all those affected as I remember them in my thoughts and prayers,” the king concluded in his speech.
