With support from Museum of Sexual DiversityThe CinemathequeBrazilian prepared a special event to celebrate the National Day of Struggle and Resistance for Trans Men and Transmasculine People.
The date, celebrated this Tuesday, February 20th, marks the fight for trans men and transmasculine people to be recognized.
The joint initiative between the Cinematheque and the Museum of Sexual Diversity is a special free session with screenings of short films on February 21st, at 7pm.
The project features the screening of four films, namely: Belize, Tailor, Razorgrass It is I Need to Say I Love You.
Each of the works was handpicked to be part of the session. The short films tell unique perspectives and struggles of transmasculine people and move between film genres.
Tickets for the session are free and must be collected one hour before the event, which takes place in the Sala Grande Otelo at Cinemateca Brasileira.
