Members of the Antibodies group spoke out against Ukraine’s participation in Eurovision

Group members Antibodies against Ukraine’s participation in the song competition Eurovision 2024. This was reported by hochu.ua.

In particular, the founder and keyboard player of the group, Sergei Vusik, believes that such events during a large-scale war are inappropriate, because the money can be spent on helping the army.

“Recently, a friend and I asked how to explain to the Europeans and those who support Ukraine that we are going to send so much money from our country to Eurovision. Maybe I should have refused to join. And say: “You see, we save on everything, because we need funds for the shells,” he expressed his opinion.

In turn, the band’s frontman Taras Topolya said that next year Ukraine should think about whether it makes sense to participate in the competition.

“The girls won – well done, let them go represent. What can we say now? But next year we really have to think that maybe we should save. And it’s good that we can send from Ukraine, which has a state from which we can send” , – said the singer.
