There are two types of batteries to choose from – 51 and 69 kWh. In the first case, the range is 344 km, in the second – 480 km with rear-wheel drive and 460 km with all-wheel drive. Fast charging up to 80% takes 28 minutes.
Volvo’s budget electric crossover was presented in Ukraine. Its cost is 32,000 euros. The Volvo EX30 electric car is available in 272 and 428 horsepower versions. The power reserve is 480 km. This is discussed on the website of the Ukrainian representative office of the brand.
The top version of the electric car accelerates to 100 km/h in just 3.6 seconds.
The Volvo EX30 is the Swedish brand’s first model built on SEA’s dedicated electric platform. It promises to be huge. In 2024, it is planned to produce about 200 thousand cars, of which 300 units will go to Ukraine.
It is a compact 4.2-meter B-class crossover, made in the brand’s characteristic minimalist style. Its design actively uses materials obtained through recycling.
The interior of the Volvo EX30 lacks the usual instrument panel – all indicators are displayed on a large 12.3-inch touchscreen in portrait format. The multimedia system includes Google services.
The crossover has two trunks: 318-liter in the rear and 65-liter in the front.
In Ukraine, the model costs from 32,000 to 45,000 euros.
The basic Core package includes 18-inch wheels, climate control, a camera and a heat pump.
The top-end Ultra version has parking autopilot, all-round camera, panoramic roof, powerful Harmann-Kardon acoustics, and electric seats and tailgates.
However, all EX30s have adaptive cruise control, automatic braking (especially at intersections and when reversing), lane keeping, blind spot monitoring, and traffic sign recognition.
