Before the procedure, the King visited the Princess of Wales after undergoing stomach surgery.
“Her Majesty would like to thank everyone who has sent their well wishes over the past week and is pleased to hear that her diagnosis is making a positive difference in public awareness,” the royal family said in a statement.
