Vintage Harley-Davidsons are highly valued by collectors, and the most expensive are the first models of the brand – their price can even reach a million dollars.
A 1911 Harley-Davidson 7D Twin motorcycle is up for auction in Las Vegas at Mecum. Its starting price is 400–500 thousand dollars. This is discussed on the auction website.
By the way, of the 5,625 Harley-Davidsons produced in 1911, only four have survived to this day.
“The model is important, because it is the first Harley-Davidson motorcycle with a two-cylinder V-twin engine – such engines have become a hallmark of the brand. The power of the 811 cc engine is 7 hp, and the maximum speed of the bike is 97 km/h,” they said at the auction house.
The Harley-Davidson 7D Twin has been preserved in almost complete configuration. During the restoration, it is only necessary to install new wheel spokes, tires and leather parts.
We remind you that Harley-Davidson previously introduced the first electric bicycle, Serial1.
