The actor was scandalized because of his ex-fiancé. His father was suspected of corruption.
A mural by Ukrainian artist Sonya Morozyuk was unveiled in Kyiv. Suspilne reported it.
The mural was daubed with red paint and the words “Corruption = Defeat” were added.
As you know, the mural was created in March 2023. It is based on a painting sold at a charity auction for UAH 250 thousand.
The mural depicts a blue and yellow canvas with the words “What’s cooler than a family of 44 million?”
We would like to remind you that Morozyuk has previously said that he will not marry the son of Lviv boss Igor Grinkevich, who is suspected of corruption in the purchase of clothing for the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Roman.
The businessman himself was detained on December 29 last year while trying to pay a bribe of 500 thousand dollars to one of the heads of the main investigation department of the State Bureau of Investigation for help in returning property seized from companies he controlled during a criminal investigation.
On December 30, the court chose a preventive measure for Grinkevich in the form of detention with the possibility of posting bail in the amount of more than 429 million Hryvnias.
The DBI reported that a few months ago they opened criminal proceedings on transactions related to the purchase of clothing and linen for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the investigation, Lviv business companies won 23 tenders to supply the Ministry of Defense with clothing worth more than 1.5 billion hryvnias, but many contracts were not fulfilled, and some were not completed in full or at inflated prices. According to preliminary estimates, the cost of damage may reach more than 1 billion hryvnia.
The Ministry of Defense terminated the agreements concluded with Grinkevich. The Lviv businessman’s family property and controlled companies were seized.
