The Russians turned the club owner against the Ukrainian musicians. Because of this, he canceled the performance a few hours before it started.
In Slovenia on January 16, Russian propagandists disrupted a charity concert of the TNMK group. The director of the group, Svyatoslav Rumezhak, announced this in a commentary to Espresso.
It is known that from the beginning of January, the artists went on a charity European tour to raise funds for the special forces of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Moscow Military District, and to help the families of the wounded and dead intelligence officers.
In Ljubljana, the owner of the Menza pri koritu club refused to provide a venue a few hours before the concert. He said that their songs contain words of violence and cruelty.
“The owner of the club agreed to everything, but at the stage of final approval he started to behave strangely: either he accused us that the riders were different, or that we did not send some information. Then he started setting conditions and Insulting us as unprofessional. On the day of the concert he called and said he wouldn’t be there because we were “neo-Nazis”. We found out later that Russian propagandists were active in Ljubljana. They are boycotting all Ukrainian rallies, doing everything possible to ensure that events in Ukraine are canceled. These people called the owner of the club, they said that we are “Nazis” and are conducting aggressive propaganda and hate speech,” Rumezhak said.
The band members said they would be careful with their language, but the owner said the Ukrainian musicians were aggressive and that he was “for peace.”
Therefore, musicians quickly began to look for a way out of this situation. Because of this, they found a new venue and played the planned concert.
It was previously reported that the lead singer of the famous American group Imagine Dragons, Dan Reynolds, once again expressed his support for our country.
