As RuPaul’s Drag Race continued to dominate the ceremony, contestant Princess Poppy wore a rather unusual outfit on the red carpet.
While her fellow drag queens are dressed in glamorous outfits, she decides to dress up as an elf. The drag queen is painted green from head to toe and has facial prosthetics with a large chin, nose and piercing ears.
To add some glamor to the daring ensemble, Princess Poppy wore a green sparkly dress and green pearl necklace and earrings. In her hands she holds a purse covered with punk doll heads.
“I wanted to do the complete opposite of what is expected of you when you go to an event like this. I wanted to turn everything on its head. Basically I wanted to be a troll witch. I wanted to be so shocking that you just It has to come back and look at me in the worst possible way,” the show participant explained the choice.
