The premiere of the show “Evenings on the Farm” based on the stories of Nikolai Gogol took place on December 22 in Moscow.
Singer Kristina Soloviy wants to sue the Russians for illegally using her song “Tremay” in the ice show of a Russian figure skater. He wrote this on his Instagram page.
In particular, the song was performed in Russian at the show of the wife of the press secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov, figure skater Tatyana Navka. In addition, he also used in his show the legendary “Shchedryk” by Leontovich and “It’s a Month” by Nikolai Staritsky.
“I received a lot of marks from you on Navka’s video. This is not the first theft of my works by Russians. And it’s not about stealing a song “Trimai”. It’s about appropriation (appropriation) cultural heritage of Ukrainians. I realize that it is not easy to convict the perpetrators. I appeal to all Ukrainians, including those abroad, to help me find and identify the legal entities involved in this “show”. Ukrainian song is a weapon. And this is the case when we must unite to defend ours,” she wrote.
Fans supported the artist and noted that nothing good was expected from Russia.
