The main character of the series The Cleaning Lady died on January 8 after a long battle with appendix cancer.
Mexican-American actor Adan Canto has passed away at the age of 42 after battling appendix cancer. Deadline reported this.
It is known that the actor recently starred in the drama series The Cleaning Lady, playing the male lead in the first two seasons. His health prevented him from continuing filming, but he still planned to join the cast in a future season. The series will honor the star’s memory with the premiere of its third season.
“It is with great sadness that we learn of the passing of Adan Canto. A great actor and dear friend, we honor him as he has been a part of the Warner Bros. Television and Fox Entertainment families since his US debut in The Aftermath more than a decade ago. “She recently lit up the screen in Cleaning Lady with a powerful performance that showcased her artistry, range, depth and vulnerability. This is an irreparable loss and we mourn with his wife Stephanie, their children and their loved ones. Adam will be missed.” , Fox and WBTV said in a statement.
It should be remembered that Canto was born in Ciudad Acuña, Coahuila, Mexico in 1981 and grew up in Texas. At the age of 16 he left home to pursue a career as a singer and guitarist in Mexico City. She began acting in local commercials and television shows before starring in Kevin Williamson’s drama series The Following, which aired on Fox in 2013. Years later she appeared in the films Blood and Oil, Last Candidate, Second Chance and The Catch.
His first major film role was as the superhero Sunspot in the 2014 film X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Since 2017, the actor has been married to sculptor and artist Stephanie Lindquist, whom he dated for almost five years. The couple has two children: three-year-old son Roman and one and a half-year-old daughter Eva.
It was previously reported that the mother of former US first lady Melania Trump, Amalia Knavs, has died at the age of 78.
