In honor of the New Year holidays, the famous Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke started a fundraiser aimed at helping Ukrainians.
In particular, on his Instagram page he published a video in which he addressed our compatriots, wished them a Happy New Year and wished that 2024 would bring only the best episodes.
“I just want to wish a Happy New Year to everyone in Ukraine. And I wish you all the best in the world this New Year. I know that you are going through a lot of very difficult things in your life. My assistant, who works in mine for ten years, Dima is from Ukraine. And I love him very much. He has 12 family members in Ukraine… My message is for everyone in Ukraine and it has nothing to do with political nonsense. All we’re trying to do is help, help people,” he said.
That’s why Mickey Rourke announced a fundraiser to restore housing for Kherson residents who lost it as a result of Russia’s shelling. He plans to raise a million dollars.
“Please help me collect donations to help all the people who are in the small town of Kherson. We want to raise a million dollars and help all the people who are in a difficult situation and really suffer,” he stressed of the actor.
