Internet Explorer has officially stopped working

Microsoft discontinued Internet Explorer on June 15th. It was officially declared “obsolete”. This is stated on the Microsoft blog.

“After 25+ years of helping people use the Internet, Internet Explorer (IE) is officially obsolete and no longer supported from now on,” it said.

Note that the browser was launched in 1995 and has been dominant for over a decade, as it is associated with the Microsoft Windows operating system pre-installed on billions of computers.

In 2015, Microsoft launched the Edge browser, which runs on the same technology as the Google browser.

Earlier it was reported that in the new Windows 10 operating system, the Internet Explorer browser will be renamed.
