The Duchess of Sussex has spoken about how she spent Christmas with the royal family in 2017.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reminisced about their first Christmas together as royals in 2017, the Express reported.
It appears that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, will not be celebrating Christmas with the UK royal family this year. However, in the early days of their relationship, the couple attended a celebration at an estate in Norfolk, where Meghan accompanied her boyfriend.
When the American actress joined the celebrations in 2017, the royals broke some rules to make it happen because the couple had not yet made their relationship official.
Meghan said how amazed she and Harry were at their first royal Christmas. He even wanted to call his mom to tell her how amazing he was.
Meghan recalled: “I remember my first Christmas at Sandringham. I was ringing my mum and she said, ‘How are you?’
Then she added, “And I said, ‘Oh my God, this is incredible.’ It’s just a big family, like I always wanted. And there was just this constant movement and energy and fun.”
She also recounted a moment when she interacted with Harry’s late grandfather, Prince Philip: “And I just thought it was great. I said, ‘Oh, we interacted and it was great.’ that’s what he’s talking about. He [принц Гарри] said, “He’s hard of hearing. He didn’t hear anything you said. He didn’t hear anything you said.”
It was previously reported that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are on the list of the biggest losers of 2023 according to The Hollywood Reporter.
