According to information from Mariana Morais, columnist for ‘Correio Brasiliense’, the actress received R$200,000 to advertise the platform.
The star was one of those mentioned in the report made by Fantastic which exposed the influencers who promote the product.
As soon as she was mentioned, Mel used her Instagram profile, which has almost 23 million followers, to speak out. The actress said she doesn’t know why her legal team’s letter wasn’t aired.
“Guys, I think it’s important to tell you that yes, I responded to Fantástico. My legal team made a note and it was sent early this afternoon, at exactly 1:44 pm. I don’t know why they didn’t put it in, but I asked them to get in touch with the program and find out why. I’ll put the note and time of the email here”, she said.
In the official note, Mel’s legal team claimed that she has no knowledge of the investigations into the case and was only hired to provide advertising services.
