Princess of Wales Kate Middleton shared a photo of herself as a child celebrating Christmas on Instagram.
The touching photo was taken in 1983, when Prince William’s wife-to-be was just a month away from celebrating her second birthday.
On the positive side, the Princess of Wales wore a red and blue striped dress, a dark blue cardigan, and multicolored beaded necklaces. A royal with cropped brown hair sat at a table decorated with birthday candles.
Behind her is a dark wooden tablecloth decorated with fir branches, ribbons and garlands.
The photo delighted fans of the royal family – many pointed out that Kate and her son, Prince Louis, are incredibly similar.
“Sharing some holiday memories this Christmas because Shaping Us is important in our early years and plays a role in what surrounds us as we shape our later years,” Kate Middleton captioned the photo .
